Who we are
INCEPT is the public-facing name of an independently operated online interior design practice operated by an individual based in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, China. This notice explains how information is collected, used, stored, and shared when you use this website or contact us.
Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry, we collect the contact details and project information you choose to provide. This may include your email address, optional name, project location, selected design scope, approximate area, budget, sourcing preferences, message, and the website page from which you contacted us.
The enquiry window and project enquiry form can keep a draft, including your message and contact details, in your browser's session storage so you can continue in the current tab. Drafts are not automatically shared across devices. Submitted enquiries, contact corrections, and additional details are stored on our server. Older website chat records may be retained under the retention practices described below.
Hosting and security systems may process technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs.
How we use information
We use information to respond to enquiries and follow up by email, discuss possible projects, prepare proposals, provide requested services, operate the website, prevent misuse, and protect website and communication security. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Service providers and international processing
Information may be processed by providers supporting website hosting, database storage, security, and email delivery. We use Google Analytics to measure page visits and selected actions, such as enquiry submissions. We do not intentionally include form messages, names, or email addresses in our configured analytics events. Third-party analytics and visual resources may receive technical request information.
Because INCEPT operates online, information may be processed in countries other than the country in which you live.
Cookies and local storage
Google Analytics may use analytics cookies to measure website use. We have disabled Google signals and advertising personalization signals in our website configuration. Functional session storage keeps enquiry drafts and submission identifiers in the current browser tab. Older chat identifiers may remain in local storage from earlier visits; the old public chat interface is no longer active. A restricted administrative session cookie is used when an authorized administrator signs in. You can clear browser storage using your browser settings, which may remove unsent drafts.
Payments
Online payment is not currently enabled on this website. If payment processing is introduced later, this notice will be updated before that feature is made available.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell personal information. Information is shared only with providers needed to operate the website and communications, when you request it, or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights, or prevent fraud and misuse.
Retention and security
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for enquiries, service delivery, business records, security, and applicable legal obligations.
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your enquiry or chat. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Send requests to hello@inceptinteriors.com.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated when the website, services, providers, or applicable requirements change. The effective date will be revised when a material update is published.
